This high barrier metallized BOPP film is a premium vacuum-metallized biaxially oriented polypropylene film engineered for extended shelf-life food packaging. The vacuum aluminum deposition delivers exceptional oxygen barrier of OTR ≤50 cc/m²·day and moisture barrier of WVTR ≤0.8 g/m²·day, while providing a brilliant metallic finish that enhances brand appeal on retail shelves.

The aluminum-coated structure with optical density 2.0-3.0 OD also blocks light-induced degradation of sensitive products such as coffee, nuts and milk powder. Available in heat sealable or non-sealable versions, the film offers strong metal adhesion (≥1.5 N/15mm) for reliable lamination and meets FDA 21 CFR and EU 10/2011 food contact regulations for global market access.

Q: What is your lead time?

Sample making takes around 3-7 working days. Mass production takes around 10-25 working days after order confirmation.

Q: Do you provide samples? Is there a sample fee?

Yes, we can provide A4 sample sheets for free. For custom samples, a sampling fee may differ based on different specifications.

Q: What shipping terms can you offer?

EXW, FOB, CIF and DDU are available. We also have a dedicated shipping agent to arrange sea, air and express delivery.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We usually accept T/T bank transfer with 30% deposit and the balance before shipment. Other payment methods are negotiable.

Q: Can this metallized film be used for direct food contact?

It meets FDA 21 CFR and EU 10/2011 for food contact applications. In most structures it is used as a middle barrier layer in laminates with a food-grade sealant web on the inside.
