Product Description / Production Introduction
This shallow dot gravure printing BOPP film is a biaxially oriented polypropylene plain film developed for food and commodity packaging, with outstanding performance in rotogravure printing. Its one side corona treated surface reaches a surface tension of at least 38 dyne per centimetre, delivering excellent ink adhesion, fast drying and sharp reproduction of fine dots and light coverage (shallow dot) areas at high line counts. With high transparency and haze of no more than 2.0 percent, printed colors appear clear, bright and true, while excellent oil resistance makes the film reliable for greasy food and commodity packaging. High tensile strength of at least 140 N/mm² in the machine direction and 260 N/mm² in the transverse direction keeps the web stable at high printing speeds without breaks, and good dimensional stability maintains register through the drying process. Available in standard thicknesses of 18, 20, 25, 28, 38 and 40 microns with customized widths up to 2060 mm, this BOPP printing film is the ideal substrate for rotogravure printing, lamination and flexible packaging.
