Product Description / Production Introduction

This metalizing base BOPP film is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film specially developed as the substrate for vacuum metallization, aluminium coating and metallized barrier films. Its uniform, smooth surface and consistent gauge produce an even, high brightness metal layer with excellent aluminium bond strength, so the metallized layer resists delamination, scratching and rub-off during downstream lamination and printing. The film is corona treated to deliver stable wetting tension, which guarantees strong aluminium adhesion and repeatable coating quality on high speed metallization lines. After metallization the film provides effective oxygen and moisture barrier performance, extending the shelf life of food and commodity packaging. With high transparency, good gloss and reliable mechanical strength, it converts smoothly in lamination, printing and bag making. Available in thicknesses from 10 to 38 microns with customized widths up to 2020 mm, it is food contact compliant and suitable for snack, confectionery, label and general flexible packaging.
