Product Description
This ultra thin BOPET base film is a 4.5 micron polyester film engineered as the carrier substrate for thermal transfer ribbons. Produced by Anhui Guofeng New Materials on advanced BOPET lines, it delivers a high tensile strength that keeps the ribbon flat and unbroken even at high printing speeds. Its excellent heat resistance allows stable silicone and ink coating and reliable performance in hot printer heads without deformation or shrinkage. Precise thickness control and a uniform surface give clean, sharp image transfer on barcode and label printers. With a low haze and glossy finish, it supports both wax and resin ribbon systems and helps reduce print defects and ribbon breakage on automated lines. Available in 4.0 to 5.0 micron and custom widths from 400 to 2100 mm, it suits ribbon slitting and jumbo roll converting.
