This smooth surface BOPET base film is a polyester carrier film developed for thermal transfer ribbon coating. Manufactured by Anhui Guofeng New Materials on advanced BOPET lines, it offers a uniform thickness across the full web and an ultra smooth, defect-free surface that helps coating lines run without skip marks or pinholes. The clean, gel-free surface gives the silicone release layer and ink layer a consistent base, so finished ribbons print clear, sharp codes on barcode and label printers. Tight thickness tolerance keeps coating weight stable and reduces variation from roll to roll. Available in 4.0 to 5.0 micron and custom widths from 400 to 2100 mm, with 36,000 to 40,000 m rolls and 3" or 6" paper cores, it suits ribbon slitting and jumbo roll converting.
