Product Description
This low shrinkage BOPET base film is a dimensionally stable polyester carrier designed for silicone coating of thermal transfer ribbons. Produced by Anhui Guofeng New Materials on advanced BOPET lines, it keeps its shape through coating cure and printing heat, so the silicone release layer and ink layer stay in register and transfer cleanly. Its silicone coatable surface bonds firmly with release coatings to prevent flaking and ghosting, while stable dimensions protect fine barcode and label detail. With good heat resistance and consistent surface quality, it performs reliably in wax, wax-resin and resin ribbon systems. Available in 4.0 to 5.0 micron and custom widths from 400 to 2100 mm, with 36,000 to 40,000 m rolls and 3" or 6" paper cores, it suits ribbon slitting and jumbo roll converting.
