Product Description / Production Introduction

PETLX is a biaxially oriented PET plain film with a smooth surface and one side corona treatment, designed as a base film for vacuum metallization, printing, lamination and thermal film. As a BOPET plain film, it delivers excellent mechanical properties with tensile strength of no less than 200 MPa in both machine and transverse directions, together with low haze and high gloss for a bright, even finished surface. The one side corona treated surface offers surface tension of at least 58 dyne per centimetre, ensuring strong metal adhesion and high lamination strength that prevent delamination and coating defects. Good dimensional stability with heat shrinkage of no more than 2.0 percent at 150 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes keeps the web flat during high speed converting, while excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance extend its use into the electronic industry. Available in standard thicknesses of 12, 25, 36, 50 and 75 microns with customized widths, this metallization grade BOPET film is ideal for aluminium metallized packaging, flexible laminates, thermal film and electronic insulation substrates.
