PETLX is a biaxially oriented PET plain film with one side corona treatment, developed for thermal transfer printing, lamination and electronic insulation. As a low haze BOPET base film, it delivers haze of no more than 3.0 percent for high clarity printing and easy quality inspection, while high tensile strength of at least 200 MPa in MD and TD ensures stable high speed converting without web breaks. Good dimensional stability with heat shrinkage below 2.0 percent at 150 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes keeps registration accurate during thermal transfer, and excellent electrical insulation with heat resisting performance suits demanding electronic applications. The one side corona treated surface reaches at least 58 dyne per centimetre for strong ink and coating adhesion, and even thickness across the web guarantees consistent quality roll after roll. Available in standard thicknesses of 12, 25, 36, 50 and 75 microns with customized widths, this thermal transfer grade BOPET film is ideal for thermal transfer ribbons, graphic printing, lamination and electronic insulation components.
