Product Description / Production Introduction
This RCPP Retort Film is a cast polypropylene film developed for vacuum pouch packaging of sterilized meat, cured food, fish and seafood. Based on retort cast polypropylene technology, it withstands high-temperature high-pressure sterilization at 121-135 degrees C for 30-45 minutes while maintaining seal integrity and dimensional stability. The film combines high barrier properties with excellent mechanical toughness, offering high tensile strength and puncture resistance that withstand folding and extrusion damage during cooking, transportation and storage. Its low temperature toughness maintains stable flexibility without brittle cracking, making it suitable for food packaging with alternating cold and heat storage. The wide heat sealing temperature range and strong hot tack deliver leak-proof seals even at high packaging speeds, protecting vacuum-packed contents from liquid leakage. Made from pure food-grade PP raw materials, it is non-toxic, odorless and compliant with international food packaging standards. Available in 60 to 100 micron thicknesses, it also serves medical sterile packaging applications requiring steam disinfection.
