VMBOPET Film High Gloss Mirror Metallic Vacuum Coated Polyester Packaging Grade Bright Finish

This VMBOPET film is metallized for appearance as much as for barrier. The polyester base is optically smooth, and the vacuum deposited aluminum layer follows that smoothness, so the surface reflects light as a clean mirror rather than a grey, slightly hazy imitation of metal. On a printed carton or a bottle label this difference is immediately visible: brand colours sit on a bright reflective ground instead of a dull silver one, and the pack reads as a higher value item on the shelf.

The gloss also has to survive the converting process to be worth anything. The aluminum layer is deposited for adhesion as well as brightness, so it holds through gravure or flexo printing, adhesive lamination to PE or CPP sealant films, slitting, die cutting and rewinding without turning patchy or lifting onto rollers. Coating uniformity is controlled across the full web width, which means the left edge and the right edge of the roll reflect the same way, and the last metre of the roll looks like the first.

Q: What is your lead time?

Sample making takes around 3-7 working days. Mass production takes around 10-25 working days after order confirmation.

Q: Do you provide samples? Is there a sample fee?

Yes, we can provide A4 sample sheets for free. For custom samples, a sampling fee may differ based on different specifications.

Q: What shipping terms can you offer?

EXW, FOB, CIF and DDU are available. We also have a dedicated shipping agent to arrange sea, air and express delivery.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We usually accept T/T bank transfer with 30% deposit and the balance before shipment. Other payment methods are negotiable.

Q: Can the metallized side be printed directly?

Yes. The coated side accepts solvent, water based and UV inks as well as laminating adhesives. Many customers print onto it as a metallic background, and we can also supply a version treated for a specific ink or adhesive system.
