Moisture is the quiet enemy of dry goods. Tea absorbs humidity and loses the aroma that justifies its price, drink powders cake into hard lumps, biscuit and crisp textures go soft, and seasoning blends clump into a block. This VMBOPET film uses a dense metallized layer to resist water vapour transmission, so the product inside stays as dry in the customer's kitchen as it was on the filling line.
Water vapour control also protects what the pack looks like on the shelf, since clumping powder and limp snacks are visible through a window or felt as soon as the bag is picked up. The film laminates well with PE and CPP sealants, giving converters a barrier core that fits standard three side seal, stand up and pillow bag structures without changing the rest of the specification.
