VMBOPET Film High Metal Bond Strength Aluminum Adhesion Flake Resistant Converting Grade

A metallized film only performs if the aluminum stays on the film. In practice most complaints about metallized material are adhesion complaints: the coating lifts during adhesive lamination, transfers onto a chill roller, scuffs off at the slitter, or shows as bright silver specks inside a finished pouch. This grade is produced for high metal bond strength, so the aluminum remains anchored through the whole converting chain rather than only until the roll leaves the metallizer.

Bond quality is evaluated along the roll and not just at the start, because coating that holds for the first few hundred metres and fails at the core is worse than useless; a converter discovers it mid run with printed stock already consumed. The result is predictable behaviour on lamination, gravure printing, slitting, bag making and folding, where a lifted metal layer would otherwise appear as a bright streak across the finished pack.

• Foil Replacement In Flexible Packaging — Structures where metallized polyester replaces aluminum foil, which only works if the coating adhesion is reliable through converting.

Q: What is your lead time?

Sample making takes around 3-7 working days. Mass production takes around 10-25 working days after order confirmation.

Q: Do you provide samples? Is there a sample fee?

Yes, we can provide A4 sample sheets for free. For custom samples, a sampling fee may differ based on different specifications.

Q: What shipping terms can you offer?

EXW, FOB, CIF and DDU are available. We also have a dedicated shipping agent to arrange sea, air and express delivery.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We usually accept T/T bank transfer with 30% deposit and the balance before shipment. Other payment methods are negotiable.

Q: How do you verify the aluminum layer adhesion?

We run peel tests on production rolls and record the result, and test reports can be supplied with the shipment so your incoming inspection can compare against the same criteria.
