A matte surface is only useful if the ink stays on it. This BOPP matte film is produced with a treated matte side that anchors solvent, water based and UV inks firmly, so dense solids do not pull away, fine lines stay crisp and the printed web survives rewinding, slitting and converting without scuffing.
The surface holds register through repeated passes, which matters on multi colour matte packaging where a shift of half a line is visible. Tensile strength is balanced in both directions so the web runs flat and stable at speed, and the matte appearance remains even after printing and over-lamination.
